WordPress Namibia (Pty) Ltd is a 100% Namibian- owned printing company.
WordPress Namibia (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2014, and is situated in Windhoek’s Lafrenz Industrial Area, Erf 189.
This printing company is a joint venture between the Namibia Media Trust (NMT), owner of The Namibian newspaper, and local businessman Wolfram Jauss and was created to primarily print the Namibian newspaper and all its special projects and supplements.
Today, WordPress is still printing The Namibian newspaper and now also various other publications, newsletters and commercial flyers.
With only restricted financing in place, the building and installation project was successfully finalized in 2014 in a record 10 months by Namibian contractors. This included the manufacturing and shipment of the GOSS printing machine from China and Britain, the Ferag inserting machine from Switzerland and the Fuji CTP equipment from Germany and the Netherlands.
The total investment of N$76 Million, including the property, buildings, equipment and all financing costs, was mainly financed by the Development Bank of Namibia.
On 1 February 2015 WordPress Namibia officially started its operations by printing the Namibian newspaper, the weekly Informante newspaper and also advertising flyers products.
WordPress Namibia (Pty) Ltd vision is to be the preferred printing company of the Namibian newspaper and advertising media.
WordPress Namibia mission is to deliver on an ongoing, continuous basis only the highest possible printing quality within shortest turn-around production- and delivery time deadlines. This is achieved by consistently re-investing into training programs for our staff, our own research and development projects and also investing into relevant new technology solutions being available on the market.
